After Your Massage and Ongoing Care
1. How might I feel after the massage?
Many people feel relaxed, lighter or more comfortable in their movement. However, areas with significant tension may temporarily feel tender or sensitive. For some people, these sensations may gradually settle over two to five days, although everyone responds differently.
After your session, rest as needed, drink water as normal and avoid strenuous activity if your body feels that it needs time to recover. You are welcome to contact Rinyapat if you have any concerns. However, if your symptoms are severe, unusual, worsening or not improving, please seek advice from an appropriate doctor or healthcare professional.
2. How does ongoing Thai Solution Massage care work?
Ongoing care can be considered in two personalised stages:
2.1 Focused Care
This stage focuses on areas of built-up tension or restriction while considering other parts of the body that may be working in connection with them. The aim is to help the muscles, fascia and tendons relax, encourage more comfortable movement and help the body and nervous system settle into a calmer state.
Meridian Therapy also forms part of this approach. It draws upon the traditional concept of energy or Qi, flowing through the body, together with mindful touch and carefully applied pressure.
During this initial stage, Rinyapat may recommend a weekly session when appropriate and practical. The number of sessions required will vary according to your body, lifestyle, level of tension and individual response. A set number of sessions or a particular outcome cannot be guaranteed in advance.
2.2 Maintenance Care
Once tension has eased and your body feels more comfortable, you may choose to arrange a session every two, three or four weeks, depending on your individual needs. Maintenance sessions may help support ongoing comfort and movement and reduce the likelihood of tension building up again.
The most suitable frequency and number of sessions will depend on your body, lifestyle, goals and response. Rinyapat will discuss this with you openly and suggest an appropriate interval, while the decision about when to return will always be yours.
3. Can I visit without an appointment?
No, Rinyapat Thai Massage is a private home studio offering one-to-one appointments, with no more than three clients accepted each day. This allows time and full attention for every session.
All appointments must be booked in advance. Walk-ins are not accepted.
4. What should I do if I am late or need to change or cancel my appointment?
Please contact Rinyapat at least 24 hours in advance if you need to change or cancel your appointment. Arriving late may reduce your treatment time so that the next client is not kept waiting.
Please read the full Studio Policy before booking.
